Jessica is an attorney in the family law department at Ciccarelli Law Offices. Jessica is a confident, knowledgeable, and empathetic attorney who helps her clients traverse complicated legal issues related to a variety of family law matters, such as divorce and equitable distribution, protection from abuse, child support, and child custody matters. Jessica’s personal family background enables her to truly understand how her clients feel while going through family related legal struggles. Her turbulent family life as a young child catapulted her desire to become an attorney, and today serves as significant motivation to see her clients through tough times and get family lives back on track. This unique perspective allows Jessica to better serve her clients since she is consistently mindful of not only the financial issues that accompany difficult family legal issues, but also the psychological challenges they present. If children are involved, Jessica is especially cognizant of her responsibility as a compassionate child advocate. She tirelessly works to ensure that the legal process serves their best interest and that the rights of children are not compromised. Jessica is an attorney who knows how to listen to her clients and ask the right questions. This approach allows her to obtain valuable insight to provide clients with the best possible legal representation for the best possible results. Jessica received her Bachelor of Science degree from Cabrini College and her law degree from Widener University School of Law Delaware. Jessica attended the part-time evening division at Widener University while working full time as a paralegal in the general litigation and family law departments at Cozen O’Connor. During law school Jessica was an active member of the Delaware Domestic Violence Outreach Program where she conducted petitioner intake interviews and assisted with protection from abuse hearings.
After graduating from law school Jessica began working as an attorney at a Bucks County law firm, focusing her practice solely on family law and protection from abuse matters. While practicing in Bucks County, Jessica volunteered her time as an attorney for Legal Aid of Southeast Pennsylvania where she provided pro bono representation on protection from abuse cases and received pro bono distinction from the Bucks County Bar Association. Jessica’s time practicing in Bucks County provided invaluable experience with complex and sensitive family legal issues; Jessica represented clients with complex custody issues such as paternity actions, grandparent and third party custody rights and in cases involving serious domestic violence, mental health and drug addiction issues. This experience, as well as Jessica’s own personal experience with family law issues, provides Jessica with a unique insight and personal understanding of the effect of family law issues, causing Jessica to be a zealous advocate and compassionate counselor for her clients.
Jessica joined Ciccarelli Law Offices and resides in Chester County. At Ciccarelli, Jessica is a member of the family law department and focuses her practice on all aspects of family law, as well as works closely with the criminal defense team to represent clients in protection from abuse matters. Jessica is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
