“Abbey Bryman is a litigation attorney in the Criminal Law section of Ciccarelli Law Offices. She vows to fight for her clients and advocate for those she represents with empathy, compassion, and perseverance. During her time at Temple University Beasley School of Law, Abbey was a certified legal intern at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. She also interned with the Philadelphia Public Defender’s Office, and Impact Services. Impact Services is a nonprofit organization focused on helping people re-enter the workforce, train for jobs, and find housing while working to build a stronger community. Abbey was an active board member of the Women’s Law Caucus, School Discipline Advocacy Service, OutLaw, and VetLaw, an organization that she helped start. After Law School, Abbey joined the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. In the Municipal Court Unit, she investigated and prosecuted matters including domestic violence, simple and aggravated assault, strangulation, and firearms. Abbey’s decisions were based on the totality of the circumstances, keeping in mind public safety and the least restrictive means possible for the person charged.Abbey has always been committed to justice and public service. After working in the Municipal Court Unit at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, she entered the Diversion Unit. There she was the lead ADA for the Philadelphia Veterans Court Diversion Program. This was a very special role for Abbey.Abbey enlisted in the United States Marine Corps at the age of 18. Based on her prior experiences in the military, Abbey could understand and often empathize with what the Veteran participants were going through. In fact, Abbey’s military experiences ultimately led her to law school and help drive her work ethic. When someone is charged with a crime, they often face confusion within the criminal court process, and fear of the uncertain. Abbey vows to combat that feeling while fighting to get the best possible results.Abbey is a Philadelphia native where she currently resides with her dog, Wally, and her partner, Christopher. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, good food, hikes with her dog, and experiencing the natural beauty of the outdoors.”
