Phillip A. Simon
Phillip was born in Dallas, Texas, grew up in Salt Lake City Utah, and attended law school in Wilmington DE. To say that he likes to travel is an understatement. He graduated from the University of Utah were he double majored in Sociology & Political Science, and earned a certificate in International Relations. While at the “U” Phillip wrote for the school newspaper, and was a student senator on the University Government for the Behavioral Sciences college. He also served as President and moderator of the Hinckley Institute of Politics.
After graduation Phil went to Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, DE, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. This allowed Phil to hone his craft of public speaking and establish many relationships throughout the region, that he maintains to this day.
After law school Phil worked as in-house counsel for a local wireless company, in addition to firms in Delaware and Chester counties focusing on criminal defense, family law, and driver’s license representation.
He has maintained his clientele and representation in the 5 county area focusing his attention in the area of family law and criminal defense for the past 15 years. He is currently the co-chair of the Criminal Defense Section of the Chester County Bar Association, in addition to being a member of the Delaware County Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He also serves on the Chester County Criminal Rules Committee. Additionally, he is an active member of the Family Law section of the Chester County bar association.
Phil’s passion is aiding his clients to obtain the best possible outcome. He is a tireless advocate for children and the less fortunate and has donated numerous hours to Legal Aid and the Access to Justice Program. He has presented on Expungements, Pardons and Clean Slate in Pennsylvania.
He currently lives in Delaware with his Wife, Melissa, and their 2 children, Jacob & Benjamin, in addition to his 2 fur babies, Riley a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and Buddy his Calico cat.
